During March, April and May the weather in Nicosia changes from the low temperatures of winter to the high temperatures summer. Average daytime temperature in March is 22°C, in April 26°C and in May 30°C.
Personally a find Spring to be the best season for discovering Nicosia. During April and May, the temperature is great and it is not crowded.

3. What to wear in March, April and May
During March you will need light winter clothes and a couble of T-shirt for the sunny day. As we move towards the summer you will use more summer clothes. In May, during daytime you will probably wear shorts, t-shirt, swimming suit etc. Below are a few photos from Nicosia in Spring so you can get a better idea of the weather and what most people wear.
4. Things to do in May
The beginning of May when it is still not hot and the greenery has not yet been burnt by the sun it is good to enjoy nature, explore the countryside, visit the archeological sites and have a long walk along one of the many nature paths. While hiking in the countryside be careful though of snakes since May is their mating season which means you might see more of them out looking for a pair. By late May the weather is comfortable enough for visiting the beach, although the sea is still a bit chilly – about 19°C-21°C. Also in May many outdoor beach restaurant and bars that were closed for winter begin to open their doors to visitors. Water parks in Paphos, Limassol and Agia Napa are also already open.
