In September, October and November, the weather in Nicosia is sunny and moderate. It is not as hot as in the summer months but the temperature is still high. Actually, many visitors find Autumn weather very nice, because they can enjoy the sun without the heat, humidity and the sweat of summer.
During the day the temperature in Nicosia is 20-35 °C and it drops to 10-20 at night. The chance of rain is less that 5%. The sun sets at 18:30. The weather at Troodos mountains is a bit colder with temperatures of 15-25 °C and 5-6 rainy days in October.
In November, the weather in Nicosia is generally sunny but there are a few cloudy or rainy days. You can still wear T-shirts and shorts during the day but you will need sweaters and pants for the cloudy days and for your night strolls.

2. What cloths to wear at Nicosia in Autumn
You will mostly use your summer clothes. At day time you will probably wear shorts, t-shirt, swimming suit etc. You should also have a sweater and a pair of pants for the night or in case the weather turns a bit cooler than normal. Sunglasses and sunblock is necessary for the beach. Below are a few photos I have taken during October so that you can get a better idea of the weather and what most people wear.
Nicosia things to do in Autumn
Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, try many of the that almost every beach has to offer or spend the whole day at one of the water parks in Cyprus. In early morning or in the late afternoon you can go for excursions to some historical places or archaeological sites. August is the month when most Cypriots take their vacations so many small shops and businesses are closed for several days during this month. The cities have less traffic and Nicosia seems deserted, while the Cypriots who didn't go abroad for their vacations are crowded on the coastal resorts of the island. In late August Wine Festival takes place in Limassol and continues in the beginning of September. Wine Festival is a great opportunity to taste all the different wines that Cypriot wineries have to offer.
