Larnaca weather in March begins to look much better and nicer as we ahead to the summer. The tourist flights to Larnaca airport start to arrive much frequent as we enter into the tourist season.

March at Larnaca is nice with daytime temperature above 20°C and quite warm sea, the warmest in Cyprus for this time of the year.

It is not a bad idea for visitors to pack relatively warm but light clothing if visiting Cyprus during March. You will mostly use light winter clothes. It is also recommended to bring jeans, pullovers, and a warm jacket for the night time. No need to bring your heavy coat. Also, a couple of T-shirts and short for the sunny days. It does not rain too much in December however you will need an umbrella for those few rainy days. The rain does not last for long so your would probably wont stay at your hotel the whole day. Sunglasses are always handy. Larnaca has the sallowest and warmest sea in Cyprus. On a warm day you can sunbath and most probably the water will be warm enough so you can swim for a while.

Although this part of spring does not last long enough to enjoy and hot and humid summers are just around the corner, you may find trips to the mountains as well as strolling across the local beaches to be an exhilarating experience for both body and mind as the weather in Cyprus during this part of the year is still relatively fresh. Beaches are relatively uncrowned and visiting them for a peaceful swim usually is a must for visitors especially from northernx
